The 'President's Award for Outstanding Contribution' is decided upon by a secret ballot of band members. First presented in 1993, this award was conferred on four occasions before the awards evening was missed  for 10 years being reinstated in 2006.  The awards evening was missed a further two more times (in 2020 and 2021) due to COVID.

The "Players' Player of The Year Award" is again decided by band members in a secret ballot. This award was first presented in 2008.

In 2023 this award was given the additional name of "The Clive Thornes Memorial Shield" in memory of Clive Thornes, a long standing and dedicated supporter of the band, who sadly passed away in 2023.
